In 2023, the men's singles final of the Wimbledon Championships attracted an average audience of 3.2 million viewers on ESPN in the United States. That year, Carlos Alcaraz defeated reigning champion Novak Djokovic, which secured the young Spaniard his first men's Grand Slam title. Meanwhile, the 2023 women's singles final, which featured Markéta Vondroušová and Ons Jabeur, had an average viewership of 1.33 million. Both finals represented an increase from the previous year, however, fell short of the audience levels achieved in 2019.
