For the most part, between 2021 and 2023 the share of visits to e-commerce websites from social media referrals in the United States stayed steady across devices, with tablets seeing the most variation. From the third quarter to the fourth quarter of 2022, the percent of visits to e-commerce sites from social media platforms on both tablets and smartphones saw its largest increase.
