As of February 2023, there were around 40.69 million people aged 15 years and above who worked in the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector in Indonesia. The agricultural sector in Indonesia has been the largest sector for employment in Indonesia for decades. However, the average wage of workers in this sector has also been one of the lowest in the archipelago.
