Yearly change in online clothing and textile sales in France 2019-2022
With the COVID-19 outbreak, online sales of clothing and textiles witnessed a significant surge in France. In the second half of 2020, e-commerce sales in this segment increased by 37 percent compared to the same period in the previous year. This upward trend continued throughout the first half of 2021 but gradually decelerated as restrictions were lifted and physical retail stores resumed their regular operations.
