In a survey carried out between September of 2018 and April 2019, it was found that Bolivia was the country with the highest share of respondents who had participated in a demonstration. In fact, almost 17 percent of the Bolivian people surveyed said they had attended a public protest in the previous twelve months, whereas the share of respondents who answered affirmatively in Jamaica amounted to only three percent.
