Italy: estimated and actual unemployment rate 2018

This statistic presents the result of a survey on the public perception of unemployment rate in Italy as of 2018. According to data published by Ipsos, respondents greatly overestimated the unemployment rate in the country, thinking that over a third of the potential workforce was unemployed and seeking work, whereas the actual figure was 11 percent.
