French opinion on the ideal salary gap between the poorest and the richest person
According to a survey conducted in March 2023, 13 percent of French respondents believed that in an ideal society, the perfect ratio between the poorest and the richest person should be one to two, meaning if the poorest person was earning a monthly net salary of 1,329 euros, the richest person should not earn more than 2,658 euros. On the other hand, there were 12 percent of those surveyed who believed there should not be any limit to top salaries.
