Value of diamond exports from Africa 2020, by country
In 2020, South Africa exported around 4.8 billion U.S. dollars of diamonds. The country was the main diamond exporter on the continent. Botswana and Angola followed with an export value of approximately four billion and 1.4 billion U.S. dollars, respectively. Namibia, Lesotho, and Zimbabwe were other leading exporters of the mineral.
