Number of new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections in Togo 2010-2019
In Togo, new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections stood at 0.59 per every 1,000 uninfected people in 2019. It has remained below one since 2012, while following a decreasing trend. In 2010, 1.19 new infections per 1,000 uninfected population were reported. HIV remains one of the leading health threats in Togo and Africa as a whole.
