Usage of drinking water sources in DR Congo 2019
In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, about 45 percent of the population used at least basic drinking water services as of 2019. This means that, 4.5 out of 10 Congolese used an improved drinking water source, where collection time is not more than 30 minutes for a round trip, including queuing. Furthermore, around 43 percent of people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo used improved drinking water sources available when needed, which means they had access to improved drinking water sources free of fecal and priority chemical contamination.
