Main challenges faced by companies during COVID-19 in Africa 2021
According to a study conducted between February and March 2021, 52 percent of the African businesses that took part in the survey faced a drop in the demand for the products or services they provided. The same share of companies reported that opportunities to meet new customers have been reduced during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Moreover, the lack of operational cash flow represented a challenge for 40 percent of the respondents.
