U.S. adults accessing low-contact services during the coronavirus pandemic May 2020
During the coronavirus pandemic in early 2020, 44 percent of adults in the United States reported that they picked up takeout food from a restaurant at the beginning of May. In comparison, only 26 percent of adults had done the same at the end of March. Between March 23 and May 17, medicine and medical supply delivery has more than doubled among U.S. adults but still remains comparatively low at a nine percent usage rate.
