Health research expenditure in the UK from 2004 to 2018, by health category
In the United Kingdom, approximately 625 million British pounds was spent towards generic health relevance research in 2018, this was almost double the expenditure in this category in 2004/05. Over the same period, spending on health research into cancer and neoplasms increased from 252 million pounds to approximately 483 million British pounds.
